Song of the Day - Ever Since New York - Harry Styles
Last night I ventured into the city to catch Harry Styles at MSG, braving an 18,000 screaming tweens decibel level just to see this former One Direction member perform his self-titled debut solo album. I'm not sure how many of us in the audience came just for the appreciation of the music, but I did find myself enjoying both the music and the enthusiastic performer as well. Here's a clip of Harry performing one of my favorite tunes off the record, Ever Since New York...

Pride Month Song of the Day - Express Yourself - Madonna
Don't go for second best baby
Put your love to the test
You know you know you've got to
Make him express how he feels
And then you'll know your love is real
Before there was Ariana. Before Gaga, there was Madonna. Aside from her knack for creating songs that pleased the masses for years, Madonna has long used her status to stand up for those who are sometimes not stood up for, and I, we, would like to thank her from the bottom of our gay little hearts!

Pride Month Song of the Day - Monster - Fred Schneider
I first discovered this out of the mainstream song when I bought a B-52's greatest videos set way back in the early 90's. Fred Schneider apparently did a solo album in 84 called The Shake Society, and this was its' only...hit. Anyway, it's as fun as any B's song might be and even features fellow B Kate Pierson on vocals and in the video. Well, so come check out the fun Monster...

Bed - Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande

Ever since my dad died back in 09, Father's Day has really fallen off my radar. I didn't even realize until late last night that today was the day. Well, even though my dad is gone, that doesn't mean I can't celebrate the day, even in the smallest of ways. Here's a classic by the late, great Luther Vandross in celebration of dads everywhere, and so to all the sons and daughters out there, make sure you go out and give your dad a big hug today and make him feel special. Song of the Day - Nervous - Shawn Mendes
Shawn Mendes is on fire! With the release of his third, eponymous, studio album he is simply at the top of his game with a slew of cleverly written tunes to catch everybody's ear. One of my favorite songs off the new album is one that I liked at first listen, and you will to (if you haven't heard it already!). I'm Upset - Drake
I've never been a huge fan of Drake, but every once in awhile he puts out something that I can really dig.
