The big story of the week is the release of Shawn Mendes' eponymous third studio album, and I would think that anyone who pays attention to pop music would say that the young impresario is firing on all cylinders. Yes, Mr. Mendes has the keenest of sensibilities when it comes to creating songs with universal appeal, and the album will not disappoint.
