My heart is broken. I love you.
-Sheila E.
In addition to the magic of Prince and his own music, the legendary artist had a keen eye for talent. Throughout the years, he'd penned many songs for other artists, several of which he groomed himself into bona fide recording artists in their own right. Acts that came out of Prince's Minneapolis Sound factory included the likes of Vanity, Appolonia, Morris Day & The Time, and Sheila E., an incredible percussionist. Starting with her own 1984 debut album, The Glamorous Life, Sheila had a few hits in the 1980's, several of them co-penned with The Purple One, before going off into a very successful career that still goes on today. Here's one of my favorite Sheila E. tunes, a funky mid-tempo jam that features Prince on vocals. Check out A Love Bizarre...
