It's Rebel Heart release week and that means great excitement for me and my fellow Madonna fans, Yes, the new album is right around the corner and I already know that this one's going to be monumental for us followers. From what I've heard of the record, this is probably the re-invention that came most naturally to Madge. She's already said that she no longer 'goes for' hit records, and so I think that at this point in her life, she is simply being herself today, and that's in a good, relaxed, and reflective place...and the results are fantastic!
The album is already being critically acclaimed and knowing the songs as I do, I'm really not surprised. I think that when all is said and done, this will have been known as her best work since 2005's Confessions on a Dance Floor, and that is something to get excited about. So in honor of the occasion, I'll be posting Madonna tunes old and new all week long, as well as whatever Madonna news I may delve into during the week.
First up, here's MDNA's version of Living for Love. That is, Turn Up the Radio was the poppiest tune on that album and should have done way better than it did because it's an awesome tune. Living for Love seems to be doing aight so far. So, check out Madonna Week 2015's first Song of the Day, Turn Up the Radio...
