All week-long, Madonna fans have and will be celebrating the life and work of their queen, whose 58th birthday is this very day. Any of my followers know that I've been a Madonna fan for, um, eons, from the time I lived in the Bronx in 1983 and the mysterious dance singer hit the NY airwaves of Kiss FM, WBLS and The Hot One, 92 KTU with abandon. Madonna is most definitely the main artist in the soundtrack of my life and I feel so fortunate to have lived during her time. Here's a favorite from 1992's excellent Erotica album.
