Song of the Day - Don't Let Me Down - The Chainsmokers, featuring Daya

Two days ago I scored tickets to see The Chainsmokers on their Memories Tour 2017 and I couldn't be more excited.  They have yet to create a tune that I haven't loved and I believe that between now and June 9th, when I see them at Forest Hills Stadium in New York, there'll be a whole new album. Yaysies!  Oh, and their special guest will be the lovely and talented Ms. Kiiara.  Even cooler! Here's one of my favorite Chainsokers' tunes...

You've probably already been exposed to Pittsburgh native Daya either through her own 2015 smash, Hideaway, or her vocals on The Chainsmokers' intoxicating Don't Let Me Down.  Well, the talented singer/songwriter has just released her debut album, Sit Still, Look Pretty, and the title cut is pretty darned catchy.  Check it out...

I was going to post another version of this song for Pride Month, but decided it was a little too risque to post here.  The video is a paradoy of The Chainsmokers' Don't Let Me Down, and it's by fitness author, model and YouTuber Brian Hawn and damn, it is hot!  You can check that out here, but in the meantime the original tune is one of my favorites of the year so far.  Ooh how I wish The Chainsmokers would come out with a whole new set!  Here's the funky Don't Let Me Down...

Here's a hot new one from one of my favorite new acts, The Chainsmokers.  I tell ya, these guys are making some genuinely great dance music these days and this time they've collaborated with sweet-voiced Hide Away singer Daya for a dance track that's got it all, great lyrics, nice vocals and slamming beats.  Great song!  Check out Don't Let Me Down...
