Today's song is probably one of the most obscure tunes I've ever posted. There's really not much to find on the Internet about it, except for several YouTube videos posted by various users. Heck, I couldn't even find a picture for the cover! Despite the strange name for the song, it has such a cool, mellow vibe that definitely makes you feel like summer, and now that it's on the horizon, why not take a listen to the sweet summer sounds of Chris Brownin'...

Song of the Day - Rockabye - Clean Bandit, with Anne Marie & Sean Paul
I think I have a new favorite song! Heard this one over the weekend and found out that Brit group Clean Bandit is not a one hit wonder. You should know them from their 2014 mega-smash Rather Be, and after learning this one I am definitely going to check out some of their other stuff. Rockabye is a fast-mover with a strong lead vocal and a hint of island sounds featuring reggae superstar Sean Paul. This one is definitely a winner!

Song of the Day - Push It - Salt n Pepa
We have a late entry song today, and with good reason. You see, I've been away for a few days...Philadelphia, and I heard this hot throwback at the popular Woody's. Even the kiddies were jamming!

Song of the Day - Love - Lana Del Rey
I've never been a huge Lana Del Rey fan, but today's post is surely meant to be for a couple of reasons. I seriously contemplated, then forgot, to post her Off to the Races, yesterday because I heard it in the background of one of those silly videos you see on Facebook. It's one of three songs of hers I absolutely love (the others being Summertime Sadness and West Coast). Then, I see that she's released a brand new song, Love, and with a new video to boot!
I liked Love upon the very first listen. It's a typical, Lana Del Rey style, slow and full of passion. The slow, steady rhythms remind me of a 50's ballad, and the video has sort of a vintage feel to it, as well, even though it's set in space. Ha ha, yeah! I just may have to download this one! Check out Love...

Song of the Day - Too Soon - Vanic, featuring Maty Noyes
Here's a recent Spotify discovery from deejay/producer Vanic, with vocals from singer Maty Noyes. I love Noyes' voice on Kygo's Stay, and that's what made me take a listen and I'm glad I did. Too Soon is a mid-tempo dance gem that's got some sweet beats and of course even sweeter vocals. Check it out...

Song of the Day - This Girl - Kungs Vs. Cookin' on 3
I've had this fantabulous song on my mind ever since Wednesday, when I posted Tiesto's new tune, which reminds me of this one. Truly this song is one of my all time favorites. It's got a nice easy breezy feel, and those horny horns really give it its dance feel. Check out This Girl...

Song of the Day - Shape of You (Mashup) - Conor Maynard Vs. The Vamps
A friend of mine posted this video the other day to his Facebook page with the simple words...Killed It! When I saw that Brit crooner Conor Maynard was a part of this, and of course the fact that it's Ed Sheeran's Shape of You, I just had to check it out. I've probably listened to it at least a dozen times since. Freaking inventively awesome! Check it out...

Flashback Friday Song of the Day - Can't Get You Out of My Head - Kylie Minogue
Though the album, Fever, was Kylie Minogue's 8th overall studio album back in 2001, it was her very first major breakthrough here in the United States. The album spawned four singles, beginning with this mid-tempo dance smash, but really the entire album was full of gems and made me a Kylie fan forever! So click play below and get your weekend started right...

Song of the Day - Paris - The Chainsmokers
Good morning and Happy Saturday! Here's The Chainsmokers' latest, and one of their best yet. The sweet, uncredited female voice on the track belongs to one Elizabeth Warren, who co-wrote the duo's Don't Let Me Down. Great song, great lyrics, very pleasing video. Check out Paris...

Flashback Friday Song of the Day - In My Eyes - Robyn
Hey little star don't be afraid
We all fall apart and make mistakes
Don't you know nothing ever seems to make sense
Just put your dancing shoes on and do it again
You know I believe if you say you can
Hey little star come take my hand
You'll feel better tomorrow
Tomorrow I'm still your friend
Little star
I got you
I got you
It's gonna be okay
For my friend!

Song of the Day - Love Me Again - John Newman
Yesterday's Song of the Day by Jonathan Roy somehow put this song in my head, probably because it's another strong rock-edged tune, though this one is a little more uplifting. Great tune!

Song of the Day - Good Things - Jonathan Roy
Canadian artist Jonathan Roy rocks! Son of famed Montreal Canadiens' goaltender Patrick Roy, Jonathan just released his debut album, Mr. Optimist Blues, and this, its first single is one power ballad that again...rocks! Couple that with this steamy video and you've got one hell of a combination that should get him the airplay he deserves for this song. Check out Good Things...

Song of the Day - Bad Romance - Lady Gaga
Gaga killed it last night! In the midst of what turned out to be a very exciting football game, one Ms. Lady Gaga took center stage to dazzle the masses in one hell of a Super Bowl Halftime Show that has got to be one of the best ever. Looking, and sounding, flawless, Gaga began with an nice homage to this great country of ours and followed suit with a thirteen-plus minute set full of her greatest hits, along with some aerial stunt work, plenty of dancers and lots and lots of drones in the resounding climactic finale of this, one of her best tunes...

Song of the Day - Poker Face - Lady Gaga
It's Super Bowl Sunday, and for many of us who couldn't really care less about the game itself, at least we've got the Halftime Show. Oh yes, halftime! (And the commercials, of course!) In the past few years, the NFL has moved towards more the big name dance/pop entertainers, musical icons of our time, to light u the stage. Acts like Prince, Beyoncé, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Katy Perry, and others have wowed audiences worldwide with spectacular mini-concerts. Well this year it's Lady Gaga who'll be getting her turn at one of the most watched musical events of the year and I can't wait to see how she does. In the meantime, here's one of her earliest, and funkiest, hits. No, can't read my Poker Face...

Song of the Day - Pink Cadillac - Mags Duval

Song of the Day - Just Girly Things - Dawin
Live it up
Live it up
Don't let nobody bring you down
Live it up
Live it up
Cuz one day, one day
Somebody will bring you a crown
So live it up
Live it up
Don't let nobody bring you down
Dawin's Just Girly Things has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now. It's really a shame it didn't get more notice when the song came out in 2014. So catchy, so happy! So click play and then go out and have a great Thursday...

Song of the Day - Don't Let Me Down - The Chainsmokers, featuring Daya
Two days ago I scored tickets to see The Chainsmokers on their Memories Tour 2017 and I couldn't be more excited. They have yet to create a tune that I haven't loved and I believe that between now and June 9th, when I see them at Forest Hills Stadium in New York, there'll be a whole new album. Yaysies! Oh, and their special guest will be the lovely and talented Ms. Kiiara. Even cooler! Here's one of my favorite Chainsokers' tunes...
