The Governors Ball music festival took place this weekend in New York City, and one of the headliners for Friday night's performances was none other than the inimitable Robyn. Oh I had this concert in my sights for months now and I am truly sorry I missed it. Robyn is not only a gifted singer and songwriter, she is a very lively and exciting performer too. Here's a tune of hers I actually learned the last time I saw her live and this particular version of Be Mine is the third different incarnation of the tune I've heard and it's just as good as either the slower or the faster versions, falling somewhere in between.
