I'd like to dedicate this to all the Creator's righteous children
I have some food in my bag for you
Not that edible food...the food you eat
No, I have some food for thought
Since knowledge is infinite and it has infinitely fell on me
So um...
I have some food in my bag for you
Not that edible food...the food you eat
No, I have some food for thought
Since knowledge is infinite and it has infinitely fell on me
So um...
I've been listening to a lot of R&B lately in preparation for Black History Month here on John's Music World, and also because I haven't listened to this old favorite genre of mine in a long, long time. Ooh, back in the 80's, the rhythm and blues was hot on all sorts of fronts, from the smooth and silky Luther Vandross to the hip hop soul of the Mary Jane Girls and the Minneapolis funk of Alexander O'Neal. I am definitely looking forward to sharing some of these artists and more during the month of February, but in the meantime, here's a soul singer that carried the torch beginning in the 90's with her stellar On & On and then some. Here's a tune of hers I recently discovered that I think, like the former, is hella smooth! Check it out...
