After what's been quite a dull summer so far for new music, it looks like things are finaly starting to heat up. With new stuff on the way from Fergie, Britney Spears, Gaga (?), and now Katy Perry, things are finally starting to heat up a little. Katy's new song, Rise, will be the theme song to NBC's coverage of the upcoming Summer Olympics and the song is vintage Perry, inspirational and uplifting...a perfect match for the occasion. The video, which was released along with the tune yesterday, is a montage of memorable Olympic moments from the past, and is a great way to get pumped up for the event if that's something you like to follow.
